He rescued swimmers on TV. Now 2015’s Guinness Book of World Records’ Most Watched TV Star in the World helping enlist more lifeguards for the parks and recreation department in Plano, Texas.
The Hoff was in town earlier this year to help promote the opening of his nephew’s new coffee shop.
There, the legendary Baywatch actor shot a quick video announcing available positions at the city’s pools.
“You can be a lifeguard. You can be a real life hero. Come save a life with the Plano lifeguards. These guys do,” he says, motioning the awe-struck guards by his side. “And I did on TV.”
