Adam Katchmarchi, Ph.D.

Adam Katchmarchi is the aquatics director and an instructor in the Kinesiology, Health, and Sport Sciences Department at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He also is president of the National Drowning Prevention Alliance. He holds instructor and trainer certifications from numerous organizations, is a licensed K-12 Health and Physical Education Teacher, and a licensed emergency medical technician. He completed his Ph.D. in Kinesiology with concentrations in coaching and teaching studies and sport management.
