Nicole E. Jacobson

Nicole Jacobson serves as recreation manager for Milwaukee Recreation. A 25-year veteran of aquatics, she had previous experience in elementary education. She takes pride in her work at La Escuela Fratney, a bilingual, dual-immersion school whose anti-racist, multi-cultural pedagogy she brought with her to aquatics. In her first seven years as aquatics supervisor, she grew Milwaukee’s program from 5,000 annual participants to 7,500. She credits the ability to connect with the community and build a diverse work team.
