Natural history
Set in a picturesque site in southern Turkey between the Taurus Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea, this waterpark enhances the Land of Legends development, which includes 2.1 million square feet of shopping, a five-star hotel and a wildlife park.

Clearly the waterpark suits the development in scale. Registering at 3 million square feet, it is one of the largest and most extensive throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

A giant wave pool anchors the park at its center. An astounding 72 waterslides populate the park. The main waterpark boasts 14 waterslides, a river system, a wave pool and a surf pool. A kids’ play area features six waterslides, an aquatic tower and two animation features. The property also includes a special events/ladies-only area meant exclusively for women and their children. This includes seven waterslides, a river system and an aqua tower.

Land of Legends also introduced the world’s first standing wave-surfing machine, which provides an endless wave and can accommodate real surfboards.

The Roman Empire/Greek Poseidon theming pays tribute to the historic site. Extensive faux rockwork evokes the area’s natural settings, while more architectural features reflect ancient Roman and Greek style.
