Three of the industry’s leading makers of dehumidification systems have been acquired.

Specified Air Solutions, manufacturer of semi-custom HVAC equipment, recently purchased Dectron, PoolPak and Seresco.

They will continue to operate as distinct brands under Specified Air Solutions’ two newly formed divisions: Dehumidified Air Solutions and Dehumidified Air Services.

The formation of Dehumidified Air Solutions brings more than 85 years of combined experience in dehumidification, engineering and retrofit installations.

The service division expands the service and technical support teams across all three dehumidifier brands to create a single national network of trained, factory-direct service personnel capable of servicing every region of the country, according to a press release.

The service division will also expand the use of its proprietary WebSentry Internet monitoring control systems across all three brands, allowing for remote trouble-shooting and adjustments to ensure optimal equipment performance without the need for an in-person service visit.
