In a deal announced earlier this month, Pentair Inc. has attained a leading Brazilian vinyl-liner manufacturing and distribution company.
The acquisition of Sibrape Industria E Comercio de Artigos Para Lazer Ltda. and its subsidiary Hidrovachek Ltda. (Sibrape) is expected to strengthen Pentair’s presence in the key South American market, according to a statement from Karl Frykman, president of Pentair Aquatic Systems in Sanford, N.C.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but the deal follows Pentair’s announcement of another merger last month.
