The Grand Wailea’s extensive outdoor aquatic features truly live up to the word “grand.” The main pool complex has nine separate pools, including a “baby beach,” seven water slides, waterfalls, caves, white-water rapids, grottos, a whirlpool and sauna, a scuba diving pool (designed specifically for lessons), and a unique water elevator, billed as the first of its kind. For adults only, there’s the more formal Hibiscus Pool, identifiable by the large mosaic hibiscus flower inlaid on its floor.
