Jeff Coy is president of JLC Consulting, a research and consulting firm based in Cave Creek, Ariz. Certified by the International Society of Hospitality Consultants, Coy has more than 30 years’ experience in the development, management and marketing of hotels and resorts. He has written for several publications, and in 2001 formed Hotel Waterpark Resort Research & Consulting with Bill Haralson.

Opened in 2006, Fallsview Indoor Waterpark is connected to three hotels, offering a total of 1,110 rooms and 200,000 square feet of meeting space. Built on top of a parking structure that overlooks Niagara Falls from the Canadian side, the waterpark is a 3-acre facility that includes The Tidal Wave wave pool, several water slides, two adult-only spas, and a 1,000-gallon tipping bucket to rival the nearby falls. There’s also a dry-play area, Jungle Beach Playland.
