The World Aquatic Health Conference, an aquatics research forum managed by the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA), now will occur alongside the national pool industry trade show. The vote for the Model Aquatic Health Code, which used to take place alongside the WAHC, now will coincide with the Association of Aquatic Professionals conference.

WAHC will be held Nov. 13-15 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, at the same time as the International Pool |Spa|Patio/Deck Expo.

Specific WAHC tracks will be offered at the event. The Certified Pool Operator course will take place at the venue Nov. 11-13.

WAHC was begun by the National Swimming Pool Foundation, which later merged with the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals to become PHTA. Those with questions can contact service@phta.org.

In the past, the Council for the Model Aquatic Health Code would gather every three years at the WAHC to complete the latest edition of the code. This code cycle, meetings and the vote will take place at the next AOAP Conference, to be held in February, 2024 in Reno, Nev.
