Aquatic Recreation Co., the waterfeature design, fabrication and construction firm, now will be called Aquatix by Landscape Structures.

The change reflects the company’s 2015 acquisition by playground equipment producer Landscape Structures. “We wanted a name that showed some breadth and still connected with Landscape Structures,” said Lynn Pinoniemi, director of marketing for Delano, Minn.-based Landscape Structures.

In addition to a new logo, the company has redesigned its website, www.aquatix.playlsi.com.

As part of the rebranding, Aquatix also introduced two new products for interactive water environments. VersoSplash and WaterLimbo offer game-based events and cause-and-effect activities. The products will have a new look and feel to integrate them into the Landscape Structures aesthetic, but legacy ARC products will remain as is, said Amy Altman, sales and marketing manager for Aquatix.

Since the acquisition, ARC, now Aquatix, has remained in its Eden Prairie, Minn. facility.
